Is Lubex anti-age also suitable for sensitive skin?
Lubex anti-age is designed specifically for sensitive skin. We offer three skin type-specific day and night treatments for daily skincare:
- light: for normal to slightly oily and combination skin (from age 25+)
- classic: for normal to slightly dry skin (from age 45+)
- rich: for dry to very dry and/or mature skin (from age 50+)
We additionally recommend a treatment that can be used before the day or night treatment. All our treatments have been developed for all skin types and, in particular, for sensitive skin.Lubex anti-age day and night treatments Lubex anti-age treatments
What does Lubex anti-age eye contain?
I’d like to use the Lubex eye care too, but I’m put off by the snake venom it contains.
We’re happy to provide the following information about our Lubex anti-age eye: Our product for the eye contour does not contain snake venom; none of the products in the Lubex anti-age line contain any animal-derived components. Lubex anti-age eye contains a protein (dipeptide complex) synthesised using a biochemical process that works in the skin to combat eye wrinkles.
What is the difference between the four treatments?
You can choose from our four treatments, depending on your skin’s needs:
- Lubex anti-age serum: to treat lines and wrinkles
- Lubex anti-age vitamin C: to treat pigment spots and wrinkles
- Lubex anti-age intelligence: to treat pores and wrinkles
- Lubex anti-age hyaluron 4 types: minimises wrinkles from within and on the skin, provides intensive hydration and improves the skin’s elasticity and tone
All of these special treatments can be applied in the morning and evening before the day or night treatment and can easily be combined.
We recommend using the new Lubex anti-age intelligence refining & correcting biostimulator during the day. It is also very suitable for the T-zone as it mattifies shiny areas immediately and prevents blemishes. You will see how it improves your complexion.
For the evening we recommend Lubex anti-age serum anti-wrinkle serum and/or Lubex anti-age vitamin C depigmenting concentrate serum or Lubex anti-age hydration oil. You can also use the oil as a mask, e.g. before you go to bed.
The result is silky-smooth and radiant skin!
Are Lubex anti-age products tested on animals?
The active ingredients and additives that we develop today and use in our Lubex anti-age line have not been tested on animals. We are also happy to confirm that we do not use any animal-derived active ingredients or additives. Lubex anti-age products are tested directly on consumers in clinical studies by dermatologists.
As our company has many years of experience with dermatological products, we believe that it is also very important to manufacture Lubex anti-age products without preservatives and to package them in special airless dispensers. Our Lubex anti-age products are naturally free of the 26 allergenic perfumes.
What does “high-dose” mean in relation to Lubex anti-age vitamin C?
Our product Lubex anti-age vitamin C depigmenting concentrate contains 10% vitamin C glucosides. This is the maximum amount permitted in dermo-cosmetic products. The combination of vitamin C with glucosides enables the vitamin C to penetrate into the deeper layers of the skin and act there. This product is designed to prevent pigment spots and to remove existing pigment/age spots. We incorporate a very high concentration of active ingredients into all our products in general.
Our night treatments such as Lubex anti-age night classic and Lubex anti-age night rich contain encapsulated (stabilised) retinol (Vitamin A). Encapsulation enables the concentration of the active ingredient retinol (vitamin A) to penetrate the skin with a “delayed” effect. This means that the active ingredient is delivered to the skin gradually and not all at once. This is also less stressful for your skin.Lubex anti-age vitamin C
What is the best way to use Lubex anti-age hydration oil?
Lubex anti-age hydration oil is suitable for all skin types and is applied before the daily day or night treatment:
Dispense a few drops into your hand, rub your palms together to warm the oil and then massage it into the skin (face, neck and décolleté) using gentle pressure while the skin is still damp after cleansing. Lubex anti-age hydration oil can be used in many ways. Customers who always wish to apply additional hydration can use Lubex anti-age hydration oil regularly in the morning or evening.
Alternatively, it can be used as a course of intensive hydration treatment for one or two months at specific times of the year: in the spring to boost the skin after the cold winter season; in the summer to care for the skin after exposure to intense UV rays; in the autumn to prepare the skin for the dry winter season; and in the winter to protect the skin in the cold season.
Tip: Use the oil instead of a mask. Simply apply a generous amount and leave it on your skin for approximately 30 minutes.Lubex anti-age hydration oil
Which product can help me to reduce shine?
We would definitely recommend the Lubex anti-age intelligence refining & correcting biostimulator. You can apply it to cleansed skin in the morning before your usual day treatment. It refines the pores and lastingly mattifies the skin. However, you should always use a day treatment in addition. The best product in this case is Lubex anti-age day light; it supplies no additional oil and is suitable for skin that tends to be oily and for combination skin.Lubex anti-age intelligence
Why are silicones used in the Lubex anti-age treatments?
Nowadays silicones are widely used in skin cosmetics as formulating additives. All the renowned brands use silicones because they ensure that the formulation is light, non-oily, non-sticky and does not have a whitening effect. There are no known allergies to high-quality silicones.
The umbrella term silicones covers a large number of different raw materials. This is why the exact name of silicone raw materials has to be stated and the materials have to be tested. Examples include dimethicone, silicone elastomers, dimethiconol, silicone gums and silicone emulsifiers. Each has a different structure and different properties. Cyclotetrasiloxane (D4, volatile silicone) is the only material that is problematic, and it is nowadays classified as a hazardous substance. Our Lubex anti-age products do not contain any D4 compounds.
Lubex anti-age treatments are assessed by external partners and only used once the silicones they contain have passed a strict safety evaluation. In this assessment all the components of our formulation undergo critical evaluation and testing. All the treatments in the Lubex anti-age line have been classified and documented as safe.
How is Lubex anti-age sun fluid face used?
Lubex anti-age sun fluid face is usually used in addition to a day treatment to provide good protection on days with more intense UV rays and pollution. Use the fingertips to distribute a sufficient amount of the anti-pollution fluid evenly on the face, neck, décolleté and hands after applying a day treatment (e.g. Lubex anti-age day classic / day classic UV 10 / day rich) and before applying make-up. If you are not using a day cream, Lubex anti-age UV 50 mineral can also be applied directly to the cleansed face.
Important: Shake well before use!
Tip: Since mineral UV filters adhere very well, cleanse your face with a mild product such as Lubex skin-cleansing emulsion in the evening.Lubex anti-age sun fluid face
What is oily skin (seborrhoea)?
Seborrhoea means oily skin. It is caused by the sebaceous glands in the skin which produce more or less sebum in response to certain substances, including hormones. In a person with an oily skin type, even the smallest stimulus from hormones is sufficient to trigger the production of more sebum than is necessary. There is often an underlying genetic predisposition.
Most of the sebaceous glands in the skin are present on the forehead, nose, chin, décolleté, shoulders and back. The pores in these parts of the body also tend to become blocked, which can lead to the formation of blackheads and blemishes. Oily skin usually tends to be robust and not sensitive because the oily film provides it with effective protection against external factors. The right care with products designed specifically for this skin type will enable oily skin to stay young for an especially long time since it is more difficult for wrinkles to develop.
The skin around the eyes does not contain sebaceous glands, elastin fibres or collagen. This skin therefore naturally contains less moisture, it tends to be dry, thinner and, as a result, particularly sensitive. And this is why the first signs of skin aging tend to appear here. Since the skin around the eyes is different, it needs special treatments designed specifically to protect it against premature aging.
