These data include, for example, name, residential address, delivery address, telephone number and e-mail address. In addition, the date and time at which you access the website, the name of the site accessed, the IP address, the source URL from which you access the website, the data volume transmitted and product and version information about the browser you use are recorded.

Furthermore, your data may be communicated to Permamed AG and third parties as a result of a legal obligation or a court order, or if this is necessary to support legal examinations or other legal investigations or processes within Switzerland or abroad. Recipients may be located in countries outside Switzerland. We would point out that authorities in certain countries, including the USA, may be able to access your data under certain circumstances.
Permamed ensures appropriate data security as stipulated in the legal requirements. Permamed secures its website and other systems to an appropriate degree using technical and organisational measures to prevent, in particular, loss, destruction, access, modification or communication of your data by unauthorised persons.

Cookies
Cookies are small files that are stored on users’ computers. Various information may be stored within cookies. The primary purpose of a cookie is to store information about a user (or the device on which the cookie is stored) during and/or after their visit to an online offering. Temporary cookies, also referred to as “session cookies” or “transient cookies” are cookies that are deleted once a user has left an online offering and closes their browser. The content of a shopping cart in an online shop or a login status, for example, may be stored in a cookie of this type. “Permanent” or “persistent” cookies are cookies that remain stored even after the browser has been closed. This enables the login status, for example, to be stored if users visit an offering several days later. Users’ interests may also be stored in this type of cookie and used to quantify the reach of an offering or for marketing purposes. “Third-party cookies” are cookies from providers other than the provider responsible for the online offering (if only the responsible provider’s cookies are stored, these are referred to as “first-party cookies”).
We may use temporary and permanent cookies and provide information about this in our data privacy statement.
If users do not want cookies to be stored on their computer, they are requested to deactivate the respective options in the system settings of their browser. Stored cookies can be deleted in the system settings of the browser. Rejection of cookies may restrict the functioning of this online offering.
You can state your general objection to the use of cookies for online marketing purposes to a large number of services, and particularly with reference to tracking, via the U.S. website http://www.aboutads.info/choices/ or the EU site http://www.youronlinechoices.com/. You can also prevent cookies from being stored on your device by turning them off in your browser settings. Please note that in this case you may not be able to use all the functions of this online offering. Every browser works in a slightly different way, but the settings for the most common browsers are shown here:

GOOGLE ANALYTICS
This website uses functions offered by the website analysis service Google Analytics. The provider is Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA.
Google Analytics uses cookies. These are text files that are stored on your computer and enable the way you use the website to be analysed. The information generated by the cookie about the way you use this website is usually communicated to a server operated by Google in the USA and stored there.
Google Analytics cookies are stored as stipulated in Art. 6 para. 1 let. f GDPR. The website operator has a legitimate interest in analysis of users’ behaviour as a way of optimising both their online offering and their advertising.
IP anonymisation
We have activated the IP anonymisation function on this website. This means that your IP address will be abbreviated by Google within the Member States of the European Union and in other contracting states to the Agreement on the European Economic Area before it is communicated to the USA. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be communicated to a server operated by Google in the USA and abbreviated there. On behalf of the operator of this website, Google will use this information to evaluate your use of the website, to create reports on website activities and to perform other services relating to website use and internet use for the website operator. The IP address communicated by your browser within the context of Google Analytics will not be combined with other data by Google.
Browser plug-in
You can prevent cookies from being stored by activating the corresponding setting in your browser software; we would point out, however, that in this case you may not be able to use all the functions of this website to their full extent. Furthermore, you can prevent the data generated by the cookie which relate to your use of this website (including your IP address) being recorded by Google and these data being processed by Google by downloading and installing the browser plug-in available at the following link: https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=en.
Objection to data recording
You can prevent your data being recorded by Google Analytics by clicking on the following link. This will set an opt-out cookie which prevents your data being recorded when you visit this website in future. Deactivating Google Analytics
More information about the way Google Analytics handles users’ data can be found in Google’s privacy policy: https://support.google.com/analytics/answer/6004245?hl=en.
Demographic data in Google Analytics
This website uses the “demographic data” function of Google Analytics. This enables reports to be compiled that contain information about the age, gender and interests of visitors to the site. These data originate from interest-specific advertising by Google and from visitor data from third-party suppliers. These data cannot be attributed to a specific person. You can deactivate this function at any time using the advertising settings in your Google account, and you can object to the recording of your data by Google Analytics in general as described under “Objection to data recording”.
Google web fonts
This site uses web fonts provided by Google to create a uniform representation of typefaces. When you call up a site, your browser loads the required web fonts into your browser cache in order to display text and typefaces correctly.
Your browser must contact the Google servers for this purpose. This makes Google aware that our website has been accessed from your IP address. Google web fonts are used in the interest of creating a uniform and appealing representation of our online offering. This represents a legitimate interest within the meaning of Art. 6 para. 1 let. f GDPR.
If your browser does not support web fonts, one of the standard typefaces on your computer will be used instead.
You can find more information about Google web fonts at developers.google.com/fonts/faq and in Google’s privacy policy at https://www.google.com/policies/privacy/.

YouTube
Our website uses plug-ins from the YouTube site operated by Google. The sites are operated by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland.
If you visit one of our sites that uses a YouTube plug-in, a connection to the YouTube servers will be established. The YouTube server will be informed which of our sites you have visited.
If you are logged in to your YouTube account, you enable YouTube to associate your surfing behaviour directly with your personal profile. You can prevent this by logging out of your YouTube account.
YouTube is used in the interest of creating an appealing representation of our online offering. This represents a legitimate interest within the meaning of Art. 6 para. 1 let. f GDPR.
Other information about the way users’ data are handled can be found in YouTube’s privacy policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy?hl=en.

Functions of the Instagram service are integrated into our sites. These functions are offered by Instagram Inc., 1601 Willow Road, Menlo Park, CA 94025, USA.
If you are logged in to your Instagram account, you can link the content on our sites with your Instagram profile by clicking on the Instagram button. This enables Instagram to link your visit to our sites with your user account. We would point out that we, as the provider of the sites, receive no information about the content of the communicated data or the way they are used by Instagram.
More information on this topic can be found in Instagram’s privacy policy: https://instagram.com/about/legal/privacy/.

Newsletter
If you register for our free newsletter, the data you have entered, i.e. your e-mail address and – optionally – your name and address, will be communicated to us. At the same time, we store the IP address of the internet connection from which you are accessing our online offering and the date and time at which you registered. As part of the registration process we will then obtain your consent to the newsletter being mailed, describe the content specifically and draw your attention to this data privacy statement. We use the data recorded in this process exclusively to mail the newsletter. You can withdraw your consent to the newsletter being mailed at any time; this will apply to future mailings. In order to do this, you simply need to inform us that you are withdrawing your consent, or use the unsubscribe link contained in every newsletter.
Mailing
The newsletter is mailed directly or via the e-mail marketing service “Mailchimp”, a newsletter mailing platform operated by the U.S. supplier Rocket Science Group, LLC, 675 Ponce De Leon Ave NE #5000, Atlanta, GA 30308, USA. You can review the data privacy provisions of the e-mail marketing service provider here: mailchimp.com/legal/privacy/. Rocket Science Group LLC d/b/a Mailchimp is certified under the Privacy Shield agreement, which guarantees that the European standard of data privacy is maintained (https://www.privacyshield.gov/participant?id=a2zt0000000TO6hAAG&status=Active). The e-mail marketing service provider is used on the basis of our legitimate interest as stipulated in Art. 6 para. 1 let. f GDPR and a contract processing agreement as stipulated in Art. 28 para. 3 sentence 1 GDPR.
The e-mail marketing service provider may use recipients’ data in pseudonymised form, i.e. without associating them with a user, in order to optimise or improve their own service, e.g. to technically optimise the mailing process and the appearance of the newsletter, or for statistical purposes. The e-mail marketing service provider does not, however, use data relating to the recipients of our newsletter to write to them directly or to communicate the data to third parties.
Performance metrics
The newsletters contain a so-called “web-beacon”, i.e. a pixel-sized file that is retrieved by our server, or by an e-mail marketing service provider if we use one, when the newsletter is opened. During this retrieval process, technical information such as information about your browser and your system and also your IP address and the time at which the file was retrieved are initially recorded.
This information helps to improve technical aspects of the service in response to the technical data, the target groups and your reading behaviour as determined by the locations from which you access the site (which can be established using the IP address) and the length of time during which you access it. The statistics recorded also include determination of whether the newsletters are opened, when they are opened and which links are activated. This information can be associated with individual newsletter recipients for technical reasons, but it is not our intention, nor that of any e-mail marketing service provider we use, to observe individual users. Rather, evaluation of this information is used to identify the reading habits of our users and to adapt our content to them, or to mail different content depending on the interests of our users.
It is unfortunately not possible to object to performance metrics separately; in this case the user must unsubscribe from the entire newsletter.

Hosting and e-mail distribution
The hosting services that we use enable the following services to be provided: infrastructure and platform services, computing capacity, memory and database services, e-mail distribution, security services and technical maintenance services that we use in order to operate the online offering.
In this context we or our hosting providers process inventory data, contact data, content data, contract data, usage data, metadata and communication data relating to customers, interested individuals and visitors to this online offering on the basis of our legitimate interest in the efficient and secure provision of this online offering.

Contact enquiries / how to get in touch
If you contact us using the contact form or by e-mail, the data you provide will be used to process your enquiry. It is necessary to provide these data so that your enquiry can be processed and answered – if you do not provide them we cannot respond to your enquiry, or can at most provide only a partial response.

Right to information and right of rectification
The legislation states that you are entitled to information about data relating to you that have been stored and/or to have them corrected, and that you have the right to object. If you wish to receive information or to have your data corrected, please address your request, enclosing a copy of an identity document, to:
Permamed AG, Ringstrasse 29, 4106 Therwil,
or info@permamed.ch.
Your request will be processed within 30 days.
